important Topic, Confused and Misleading determination : That Used to Be Us: How America Fell Behind in the World It Invented and How We Can Come Back

I never voted Democrat but I am irked by the Right when they shout «Class Warfare». America was built with the blood of average Americans....slaves, cheap labor, pioneers, truckers, plus many other groups and individuals who have fought for better lives....not the politcians in Dc. Yes there Is class struggle But Marx is not the answer...The Old time tested American Spirit is and that is putting aside puffed up false pride and pulling togather as one. We have an hour glass shaped ownership of wealth. We need a middle class to buy our own goods and services as well as global markets. Carter,whom I used to detest, said on leaving office that the biggest threat to the U S was all of us existing as special interest groups. We are living it now as clearly seen in Congress. More books like this are desperately needed.
